Hand-colored in Annotto Bay, Jamaica, each skein of this soft merino wool is dyed in small batches using plant-based color and a copper mordant, part of the COPPACODE natural dye process. Merino is prized for its fine, springy fibers that feel gentle against the skin, hold warmth without heaviness, and breathe naturally. Spun to a versatile worsted weight, it works up quickly into sweaters, hats, scarves, blankets, and heirloom pieces, and shows off both knit and crochet stitch definition beautifully.
Because every skein is colored by hand with botanicals, no two are exactly alike. Expect subtle shifts in tone, depth, and saturation within a skein and from batch to batch. These variations are the signature of natural color, not flaws. If your project needs more than one skein, we recommend purchasing everything you need at once and alternating skeins every few rows for a seamless blend.
